Hello, World
Yup, that's me. Right there. On a sailboat pulling away from the lighthouse, headed out on the expedition of a lifetime.
You ever feel like you were born for a reason? I think most of us do, at some point. But for me, lately, this feeling has hit different than anything I've experienced before. I've never felt this way. Wind in my face, more than a little scared, but ready. Ready for what's coming. Ready to build something new. Ready to wonder. Ready to be uncomfortable.
Because we all know that's where the growth happens.
Now, I won't pretend the stakes aren't real. There's so much on the line, and the odds of failure are high. But fear not. I think part of the journey is learning to read your own navigation tools, the ones life hands you along the way. And we forget, more often than we should, that the people around us are part of that toolkit too. They hold us up in ways we don't always see or understand. More proof that everything is connected.
The butterfly has flapped its wings. And so, for the first time, have mine.
I don't have all the answers. Not even close. But I know I can count on my ancestors, on the people who've walked before me, and on whatever winds carry me from here.
Here we go.
